This is my 2001 650 VStar DeepPurple Classic named "Stargazer". I got her in March of 2001. We have been thru a lot together including the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11th. I was coming out of the Battery Tunnel when Tower 2 fell in front of us. Had to have her carbs rebuilt from all the soot and cement that got into her. We survived and are both truly grateful.
She took a 2nd place trophy at a bike/car show this past July in Brooklyn where I live. My hubby has the itch to ride, so I bought him a 2002 650 Star Classic so he can keep his butt out of my saddle. Can you guess what he's gonna get for Christmas?
