yesterday, after much internet research, i went up to the honda shop in etown and traded in my suzuki. the suzuki was fun but had quite a vibration, bolts coming loose, and too small a gas tank, and hard to get to plugs and battery.
i sold it for $200 more than i paid for it, got all my leather trimmings and foot pegs off it, and bought this 2003 1300 honda brand new!
i haven't had a new car or anything else since i bought my first and only new car when i was 20 and had a great job. never really wanted anything new. spent money raising kids, etc. but now, being a gramma,....i have the DO IT NOW attitude. no more waiting for anything. now is the time!!!!!!
what a thrill it was riding it home!!!!!!! of course, as things always go, it rained a little. bike handled great, windshield kept me dry!!
so mama's got a brand new bike!!!! yippee skippee yay!!!!!!! hope to take lots of trips on it including going from vancouver down to mexico along the coast.
