I live in the greater SF Bay area. My husband just bought me this 2001 Rebel in November. I
started taking the MSF motorcycle course. It thought it was very hard for beginners and the
first day it was a grueling 5 hour class in 55 degree weather. I opted to continue the second
part (swerving) when it is a little warmer and I have a bit more experience. Hopefully that
will be in the next few months. So far I have mastered Niles Canyon (Hwy 84 East). That
was quite a challenge for my second time on a bike. We had a HD Sportster Custom 883 on
order for me, but being 5'2" and 135 pounds, it was like a big ole' monster to me-- the
Rebel is just right!
