my biker buds call me "T"
or Thelma. I've been watchin
the lady biker site for a while and couldn't wait too put my picture
on the site with the rest of you lady riders. I bought my first bike
about a month ago. 1999 Dyna Wide Glide, I love it!!! I've only been
ridin for a month, I've ridin on the back of many off and on for a few
years, but within the last year I decided to purchase my own. I'm still
some what nervous but when I'm on my dyna, the nervous fades and I feel
safe, free and confident! Lots of riders told me I should start out
with something small for a first time rider, then there was a small
number of lady riders (Polly...etc.thanks) said, they started with what
they wanted and felt good to them. Of course, I did what my lady rider
buds did. Started with a big ride, and believe you should start with
what you want. Don't make decisions on your first bike by what someone
else experienced. (** especially the men riders... they may be intimidated
by you ridin a bike bigger or better than them). No offense men -- we
still love you!
