I spend most of my riding time aboard STeed, an 03 Honda ST 1300. I enjoy long day trips (under 1000 miles) and occasional long distance trips on this bike. I have ridden on average more that 20,000 miles per year for the last 20 years and most of my mileage comes from long distance riding. I have added many creature comforts to ease my addiction to motorcycling!
Mounted on the dash shelf are:
- Garmin StreetPilot 2620 with antenna
- XM SkiFi 2 receiver with antenna
- Valentine One heads up display
- Mobile phone
In the left faring pocket are:
Here it is without the XM, Garmin or phone. Toward the back are the XM radio and Garmin antennas.
Mounted on the left side pocket door are the the V1 on/off switch and an accessory plug to charge my phone and to plug in the XM radio. Inside the left pocket are the V1, velcroed to the side and the Autocom velcroed underneath.
