Jill (Scoot) here with the SilverStreak, a 1982 Yamaha Maxim XJ550J.  I just took and passed the MSF course in April and now have my license.  When I got home from the last day of the MSF course I found this scoot on the back patio. My hubby and brother, bless there hearts knew I'd pass and bought this scoot for me. She runs great and is in good shape.  I felt comfortable right away.  My husband can't keep me off of the darn thing long enough to get fed.  In truth both of us are out puttin' and putting miles on our scoots.   I'd had plans to ride this scoot for a few months to get experience and then buy a 600 Shadow but I'm having so much fun with SilverStreak that I might just keep her.
