My name is Maxie X  I have been riding for 24 years.  Started on dirt bikes then got my MC license in 1988.  I rode an '85 Yamaha Maxim X700 (hence, my nickname) and also rode my husband's Vmax (1200).   When he bought a new '98 Vmax, I got his '85.  I still own my Maxim X (can't let her go).  We also purchased a set of Suzuki DR350's in '98 as our 10 year anniversary gift for some on/off road fun.  My husband and I belong to the worldwide VMOA (Vmax Owners Association) and ride locally with fellow "maxers"
